WSP USA is actively searching for a dynamic Fare Payments Manager to spearhead exciting fare payment projects across North America.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant fare payment experience.
  • Experience leading large, complex fare payment system projects that integrate software, electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering.
  • Extensive experience managing software development initiatives, including crafting requirements and overseeing development, testing, and deployment of fare payment systems in live production environments.
  • Thorough understanding of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and key security best practices for payment card applications.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and effectively communicate project specifications and contracts with legal teams and clients.
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining essential project management documents, including project schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in engineering or an MBA.
  • Track record of successfully overseeing operational and maintenance teams focused on fare payment systems.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage industry expertise to shape and enhance Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems through innovative design and seamless integration.
  • Lead a talented team of engineers and testers to successfully deliver cutting-edge systems for large transit organizations.
  • Oversee the management and deployment of fare collection systems, ensuring smooth functionality of component interfaces, integrations, and configurations.
  • Provide guidance to engineering teams on agency business rules and engineering requirements, focusing on software systems, development, testing, and deployment.
