About The Position

The FAR Part 139 Training Specialist is responsible for conducting classroom and on-the-job FAR 139 related training for WCAA personnel and tenants. Responsibilities may include developing training program and materials for programs such as leadership skills, new employee orientation, and airfield safety; demonstrating procedures; and administering written and practical exams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience performing airfield safety self-inspections and other Airfield Operations-related Part 139 duties.
  • Or High School Diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency and a minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience performing airfield safety self-inspections and other Airfield Operations-related Part 139 duties.
  • AAAE Certified Employee (ACE) - Operations or AAAE Certified Member (CM) certification.
  • Proficient with Office Suite Software (Core - Email, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation).
  • Valid Driver's License and a safe acceptable driving record.
  • Have or obtain WCAA Airfield Certification (Movement Area) within probation period.
