The ESPI Employer Integrity Partners team administers the employer participation and integrity functions of the FAMLI Program in accordance with the FAMLI Act and its implementing regulations. They enforce compliance with state law and regulations to ensure the integrity of the FAMLI Program and solvency of the FAMLI Trust Fund. The work unit is responsible for monitoring employer registration and account maintenance, managing relationships with third-party administrators and large employers, and ensuring employers pay their fair share of premiums by reviewing reported nationwide employee headcounts. The unit will also build proactive relationships with employers and their representatives to reduce the number and value of employer delinquencies. Position exists to provide support to large employers and third-party administrators (TPAs) with policies regarding employer liability; to assist employers in understanding FAMLI statutes, regulations, and compliance in filing quarterly wage reports and making premium payments; establish, maintain, and terminate employer accounts; identify delinquent wage reports and premium balances and pursue collections; process refunds and reimbursements; and educate and instruct employers in their responsibilities and legal rights while protecting the interests of the Division in accordance with the Colorado Revised Statutes, Colorado Code of Regulations, and Division policies and procedures. Position serves as the primary point of contact for assigned Employer and TPA accounts for all aspects of employer account maintenance, including troubleshooting interactions with the MyFAMLI+ Employer Portal.
