Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old.
• Legally married for at least a year.
• Rock-solid communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word).
• Assertive, flexible, team-oriented, and punctual.

Nice To Haves

• A college degree.
• Experience working with youth.
• Training in Nonviolent Crisis Prevention (CPI), Teaching Family Model, and CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Be the masterminds behind each youth’s journey, from setting epic treatment goals to cheering them on toward a triumphant discharge.
• Keep the communication flowing with parents, caseworkers, and teachers, creating a tight-knit support squad that’s all about the kids’ success.
• Plan fun activities, whip up tasty menus, and manage the home’s budget like pros.
• Create a 'no restraint' vibe by mastering verbal de-escalation tricks and crafting personalized behavior plans.
• Guide youth to rock social skills, personal hygiene, and household chores.
• Build warm, supportive relationships with a smile and a kind word.
• Design a daily routine packed with school, community events, and cool extracurriculars.
• Connect with caseworkers, teachers, and probation officers to pave the way for each youth’s bright future.
• Plan delicious, nutritious menus and shop smart to keep the kitchen stocked.
• Administer meds with care, keep spot-on records, and ensure the home and agency vehicles are in tip-top shape.
• Handle fire drills, safety checks, and clothing inventories.
