About The Position
The Family Support Worker OPS position involves assisting investigators in maintaining a caseload of families receiving social services. The worker provides materials about nutrition, infant development, and parenting skills, ensures timely immunizations and well-baby visits, and assists families in accessing community services. The position requires working with families to develop support plans, conducting interviews to collect household data, coordinating transportation, maintaining client files, participating in training, and making referrals for emergency and ongoing services. The worker must maintain liaison with community agencies to determine the results of services rendered to clients and perform related work as required.
