About The Position

The Family Support Worker will assist case management staff in providing safety, well-being, and permanency for children served by this agency. This role involves developing and maintaining client records and documentation to meet contract and Community Partnership for Children standards, including assembling various packets, obtaining necessary documents, and typing home studies for case managers. The Family Support Worker will also provide transportation for children to visits and court, monitor supervised visits, and complete reports of observations. Additionally, they will supervise children in the absence of a case manager, provide modeling techniques and education as outlined in the case plan, participate in weekly unit staff meetings, and provide on-call support as requested.

  • Two years experience working with children and families
  • Previous experience working in a social service organization, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide appropriate modeling techniques, education, and other supportive services as delineated in the case plan.
  • Participate in weekly unit staff meetings.
  • Provide on-call support as requested.
