About The Position

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full time Family Support Specialist for our Healthy Families America (HFA) Program to join our dedicated, supportive Healthy Families Team in Riverside, RI. The Healthy Families of America program is designed to assist parents facing challenges. Families are enrolled prenatally or within three months of birth. EBCAP believes all families share the same aspirations for their children and will work collaboratively to contribute to their childrens learning and developing experience. How you will make an impact: Provide assessment, intake, home visiting, goal setting, and planning according to the benchmark goals established by the Rhode Island Department of Health. Coordinate services with other EBCAP home visiting, health, and teen-focused groups to maximum services and eliminate duplication. Adhere to HFA Performance Standards, agency goals, as well as personnel policies. Skills/Qualifications of the ideal candidate: Experience serving families of diverse social and economic backgrounds, using evidence base practice models and quality assurance and working with children birth to four years of age and their families Strong verbal and written communication skills required; Minimum of a bachelors degree in a Human Services field with at least three years experience in the field. The ideal candidate should be familiar with community resources and enjoy working with children and their families.

Requirements
