About The Position

As a Family Support Professional, you will play a meaningful role in providing Family Support Services to children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities in community settings. You will support and supervise individuals while ensuring a safe and positive environment. In this role, you will partner closely with families and utilize evidence-based practices to appropriately manage behaviors and encourage growth. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
1+ year experience providing care or supervision for children or adults in community-based programs such as youth programs, recreational activities, or family support.
Must have reliable means of transportation

Responsibilities

Participate in activities aimed at promoting socialization, community integration, and skill building.
Provide support and supervision to individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities such as autism.
Support individuals in recreational and skill-building activities outside the home, in community spaces and public settings.
