The Family Support Partner (FSP) is a parent/caregiver of a child with emotional or behavioral challenges who has successfully navigated the system. This lived experience allows the FSP to have a unique ability to engage with families receiving services and support them with empathy and understanding. The FSP will work within the Clinical Management Department. The FSP will primarily provide support and guidance to caregivers of youth referred, actively receiving treatment and/or discharged from any child acute and/or residential treatment program. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support youth and families receiving children’s community-based services. The FSP will make outreach calls, participate in inter-agency meetings, and conduct site visits along with team members. The FSP will assist in further fostering family driven care within the organization and across provider network.
