Family Specialist, Chico CA Full-time/Part-Time Youth for Change is a non-profit, public benefit organization licensed by the state of California to provide comprehensive treatment, education, and support services for our community. Summary The Family Specialist position provides services to children and families, secures community resources, and provides mental health services. Family Specialists/IHBS Providers participate in family-centered, strength-based, culturally sensitive, needs driven planning process for creating individualized services and supports for children, youth and their families. The Family Specialist assists in the Wraparound process which facilitates access to natural, professional, and community-based options, activities, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred and one-year full time experience or; AA degree in Behavioral Science and two years full time experience
- Possess and maintain valid California Driver’s License and auto insurance
