About The Position

About the Role As a Family Services Partner , you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused support to families and centres across a range of contact channels. This is a part-time position (10.5 hours per week), reporting to the Operations Lead. You will manage a broad range of enquiries including enrolments, Child Care Subsidy (CCS), centre information and family account queries. You’ll ensure every interaction is handled with empathy, professionalism and accuracy, while consistently applying Goodstart’s policies and procedures. Working collaboratively within the team, you’ll help maintain service levels and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall family experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer service or contact centre environment managing high volumes of enquiries.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to contributing to a positive team culture.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within early childhood education, health or community services.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Xap, CM or PureCloud (or similar systems).
  • A qualification or training in Customer Service or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Be the trusted first point of contact for families, ensuring they feel informed, valued and supported.
  • Deliver responsive and accurate assistance across phone, email and other communication channels.
  • Accurately process transactions and maintain detailed records in line with compliance and data integrity requirements.
  • Contribute to team performance by meeting service, quality and productivity KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
