Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field that is licensable by the Kansas BSRB.
• 2+ years working with kids and families required (bonus points if you have experience in foster care).
• Licensed by the Kansas BSRB (or you’ve applied to get licensed).
• A driver’s license and auto insurance (You’ll need a car for this role!)
• A compassionate heart and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet with foster families and offer support.
• Be a crisis responder and offer on-call support when families need it the most.
• Help train and recruit awesome new foster families.
• Lead meetings, attend court hearings, and work directly with families and kids to keep them safe and supported.
• Provide direct services and connect families to local resources for extra support.
• Stay organized and get stuff done! (Yep, paperwork is part of the job).
