About The Position

As a Family Risk Advisor with American Family you'll be a trusted advisor, conducting insightful reviews of existing policies and creating personalized recommendations deepening our customer relationships. You will impact our multiproduct goals by cross-selling essential products to our valued clients, ensuring they have everything they need to protect their dreams. In this primarily office-based role, you will be expected to spend at least 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from the office. Candidates should reside within approximately 35-50 miles of one of the following office locations: Portland, OR.

Requirements

• Retain existing accounts through excellent customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication to clearly explain insurance concepts to customers and to create personalized messages and thank-you cards.
• Provide accurate quotes to clients.
• Multitask on multiple computer systems/screens.
• Drive engagement and brand awareness through social media.

Responsibilities

• Provide solid customer experiences by directing customers to the right resources.
• Understand customer needs and match them with suitable products and services.
• Conduct reviews of existing policies and make tailored recommendations.
• Participate and work on all Corporate Testing as assigned.
• Collaborate with leaders and your team to engage content for social media campaigns, driving our online presence.
• Gather all necessary information to assess if prospective customers meet underwriting guidelines.
