About The Position

The Family Preservation Therapist is responsible for providing brief, intensive in-home therapeutic services to families identified and referred by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. The role involves intake assessment, treatment planning and execution, and discharge and aftercare planning. The FP therapist collaborates with NE DHHS and the GLFS Skillbuilder to assist the families in developing and implementing healthier habits, relationships, and lifestyles; and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a minimum LMHP, PLMHP or Master’s level intern within one semester of graduation required.
• Must provide a reliable personal vehicle for travel as part of daily work.
• Must provide a personal cell phone and internet service with daily access to GLFS work email and GLFS Computer Systems.
• Timeliness and streamlined communication is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief, intensive in-home therapeutic services to families referred by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Execute treatment plans and manage discharge and aftercare planning.
• Collaborate with NE DHHS and GLFS Skillbuilder to assist families in developing healthier habits and relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
