About The Position

The Family Preservation Manager oversees all clinical services and caseload work within the program, providing training, supervision, and treatment guidance to direct care staff. The role ensures compliance with agency policies, maintains evidence-based treatment programming, and reviews and approves all clinical documentation. This individual represents the organization professionally, builds strong relationships with referral agencies, and supports crisis response with 24/7 clinical and administrative oversight. They also assist with hiring, staff development, program evaluation, and implementation of improvements to enhance outcomes for children, youth, and families. Strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work independently while fostering a positive, therapeutic culture are essential.

Requirements

  • An individual with strong convictions who is also in agreement with Josiah White’s mission statement, Statement of Faith, and Code of Conduct.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related Human Services field is required.
  • Possesses a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board, or able to obtain one upon hire.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and administrative leadership for Family Preservation services, including directing caseload work, treatment guidance, and staff supervision.
  • Oversee evidence-based treatment programming, ensuring alignment with agency mission and therapeutic standards.
  • Ensure program and documentation compliance, meeting agency policies, contract requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Supervise caseload assignment and clinical documentation, including reviewing and approving treatment plans, notes, and assessments.
  • Provide 24/7 crisis oversight, offering clinical and administrative support for urgent family situations.
  • Evaluate and improve program performance, identifying needs and coordinating enhancements with leadership.
  • Maintain strong external relationships, representing the organization and collaborating with referral agencies.
  • Promote client and customer satisfaction, using proactive communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and stakeholders, strengthening coordination and service delivery across programs.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.
  • Provides guidance, direction, and support to assigned staff to ensure effective performance and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Addresses corrective action in accordance with company policy.
