About The Position

The position involves responsibilities such as medical diagnosis and treatment, completion of appropriate documentation in the Electronic Health Record, participation in and support of quality assurance activities, adherence to strict confidentiality requirements, positive communication amongst staff and patients, and participation in professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Completion of a certified Nurse Practitioner Program
• At least one year experience in a medical office setting preferred; other clinical areas may be substituted
• Capacity to obtain proficiency in utilizing Center’s EMR system
• License or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland
• Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance license
• DEA license
• Currently BLS or ACLS certified
