The Family Practice/Medicine Physician will provide medical care to pediatrics through geriatrics, including examine, diagnose, prevent and treat, illness, disease and injury. The physician will examine or conduct tests to provide information on medical status, analyze records, reports, test results, and/or examination to diagnose medical condition of patient, prescribe and administer treatment, therapy, medication and/or vaccination. The physician will explain diagnosis, procedures and discuss test results on prescribed treatments with patient and advice patients concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. The physician will collaborate with other physicians and mid-level providers. The physician will participate in medical and interdisciplinary clinical committees. The physician may participate as a preceptor for medical and nurse practitioner students. The physician will perform other job related duties as required by departmental needs and demands.
