About The Position

WellSpan Health is seeking a BC/BE physician to join our team of experienced providers in northern York County - a short drive to Harrisburg, PA. This position involves providing clinical and administrative services in a family practice setting. You will work alongside 5 physicians, 1 PA-C, and a Behaviorist in a suburban practice, operating within a care team structure with a Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by your side. The practice has an excellent call schedule of 1:14 and closes at 4pm on Fridays. The facility is a beautiful newer building with ample space, including on-site physical therapy services.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible upon hire.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting.
• Collaborate with a care team including physicians, PA-C, and behavioral health providers.
• Utilize DAX - Dragon Ambient eXperience for clinical documentation in EPIC electronic health record.
• Participate in an excellent call schedule and maintain a work-life balance.
