About The Position

WellSpan Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Physician to join our Mercersburg practice located in a farming community with an excellent school system, a ski resort and a 20-minute drive away to Maryland. It is the home of Mercersburg Academy, an independent college prep school. Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support certification upon hire required.
• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or board eligible upon hire required.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative services in a family practice setting.
• Join a team of 5 physicians and APP in an established rural practice.
• Manage a walk-in clinic and provide care for a good number of pediatrics.
• Utilize Epic at all WellSpan locations.
