Family Medicine Physician

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program
• Board Certified
• Active New York State medical license
• Recent outpatient experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an FQHC or underserved setting
• Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care in an outpatient setting
• Perform history and physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Develop and manage patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Support care for patients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and regulatory standards
• Participate in shared on-call coverage
