About The Position

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting. WellSpan Health is actively seeking a full-time, BC/BQ family physician to join our outpatient practice near Berks County known for teamwork and longevity. We are now offering DAX - an artificial intelligence scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note in the EPIC electronic health record for the provider.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire
• Basic Life Support certification upon hire
• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible upon hire
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency upon hire
• Administrative skills

Responsibilities

• Join 4 physicians and 2 NPs at this family practice in Reinholds, Pennsylvania
• Provide primary medical care to patients
• Utilize DAX AI scribe for clinical documentation
• Participate in shared call with another practice (1:6 or 1:7)
• Collaborate with OB and Pediatrics embedded in the multispecialty practice
• Work with lab and imaging services in the same suite
