The MedStar Health/Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a full-time clinical residency faculty member. This position includes 0.7 FTE clinical time, 0.1 FTE administrative time, 0.1 FTE residency precepting at the MedStar Health/Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center Family Medicine Residency Program and 0.1 FTE medical student education responsibilities at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Opportunities exist to precept residents and students in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Inpatient adult Family Medicine preferred but not required. MD, DO or equivalent with current ABFM certification or equivalent required. Position includes appointment at a non-tenured assistant professor level with commensurate salary; advanced appointment and salary are dependent upon qualifications.

• Current ABFM certification or equivalent required.

• Experience in inpatient adult Family Medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical residency education and precepting for residents and medical students.
• Engage in administrative duties related to the residency program.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient settings for resident and student education.
