About The Position

Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting. WellSpan Health is seeking a Family Physician who is passionate about serving the vulnerable and eclectic patient population in York, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support certification upon hire required.
• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or board eligible upon hire required.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency upon hire required.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish speaking physician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join 4 physicians and 2 APPs in this diverse, welcoming practice.
• Provide gender affirming care and medication assisted treatment.
• Work closely with two assigned social workers.
• Utilize an on-site behaviorist to serve as a bridge into behavioral health services.
• Participate in a patient-centered medical home.
