About The Position

WellSpan Health, an integrated not-for-profit health system serving the communities of South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland, is seeking a full-time Family Physician to join our growing Primary Care practice in Hanover, PA. This position provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting. The full-time position consists of 35 direct patient care hours a week, with appointment slots of 20 and 40 minutes. The call schedule is nurse-triaged and includes 9 weeknights per year and 2-4 weekends per year. Labs, imaging, and specialty offices are on-site in this shared multispecialty suite. The practice is family-oriented and offers mentorship by seasoned physicians, utilizing Epic at all WellSpan locations.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine upon hire.
• Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or board eligible upon hire.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency upon hire.
