As a Family Peer Support Supervisor at Alexander Youth Network, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight to a team of Family Peer Support Specialists (FPSS) who support families navigating the challenges of raising children with behavioral health needs. Drawing from your knowledge of family peer support principles and your own lived experience as a parent/caregiver of a child with emotional, behavioral, social, developmental, and/or substance use challenges, you will ensure the effective implementation and sustainability of the family peer support program. You will be responsible for supervising and guiding the Family Peer Support Specialist team (maintaining a 1:10 supervisor-to-peer ratio), ensuring quality service delivery, facilitating professional development, and fostering a supportive work environment. Your leadership will be crucial in promoting self-advocacy, system navigation, and resilience among both the FPSS team and the families they serve, ultimately improving outcomes for youth involved in multiple systems.
