Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides services for children and families to ensure a community without abuse, neglect and abandonment, so all children grow to their full potential. Based out of Orlando, FL, this position is responsible for engaging the Family in the assessment process as well as the development of the initial Family Preservation Plan via a family team Meeting, using unique, life-altering experiences in order to guide and support others who are in some form of recovery, and referring to patients recovering from addiction, mental health disorders or abuse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience as a consumer, consumer relative, adoptive, foster, and/or biological parent to a child with a behavioral health disorder required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.
• Must have experience working as a Family Partner or personal experience with children in the Mental Health System.
• Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings including Drug Test and TB Test.

• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage the Family in the assessment process.
