About The Position

Baker Tilly is currently seeking Family Office Associates. This position is responsible for being a point of contact with clients to ensure their core accounting processes are working smoothly and are completed both timely and accurately. This core includes booking journal entries, preparing reports, overseeing payroll, and managing a client’s data to ensure completeness and accuracy. Additionally, Family Office Associates also proactively monitoring a client’s financial situation to manage cash, support capital calls, and provide research and analysis of trends to identify action items and support major projects being conducted by our clients.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire; Baker Tilly will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, STEM OPT)
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree, with preference for Business or Accounting majors
  • Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to commute as needed throughout the region; to include Baker Tilly’s offices
  • Ability to travel to client locations, including overnight stays, with travel expectations varying by department and office locations
  • Seasonal flexibility to work overtime or additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Must have a current, accepted offer with Baker Tilly (formerly Moss Adams)

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in technology-related fields highly desirable
  • Reside within a commutable distance to a Baker Tilly office and be willing to work on-site on a regular basis
  • Experience with Bill.com and QuickBooks preferred
  • Understanding of payroll a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills: Ability to understand own and others' emotions to achieve desired goals
