About The Position

Family Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to consider an available full-time position with Liberty Healthcare at the G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital in Columbia, SC. The G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital provides inpatient psychiatric care for adults who are experiencing mental illness. The hospital is publicly funded and operated by the South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, and selected members of the hospital staff work through a collaborative long-term agreement with Liberty Healthcare. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing primary care to an assigned caseload of adult patients. This will include conducting medical histories and physicals, diagnosing acute and chronic health conditions, preventive care, episodic care, proscribing, and medication management. Please note, this role does not involve psychiatric and mental health care. You will work collaboratively with an experienced team of Primary Care Physicians, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and ancillary clinicians.
