About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) to join our multidisciplinary team in a part-time weekend role. In this position, you will provide medical evaluations and treatment for patients across all age groups, working under the supervision of the Medical Director and in collaboration with clinical staff. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing and completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
  • Current Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP-C) required.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license and DEA certification (as required by state regulations).
  • Minimum of one year of RN experience and clinical experience with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic boundaries, crisis management, and patient-centered care principles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in inpatient behavioral health or working with psychiatric patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses independently or as part of a healthcare team.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical and psychiatric health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Participate in the formulation of patient treatment plans and encourage family involvement in care.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging; prescribe medications as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and treatments in accordance with facility guidelines.
  • Provide health education and promote disease prevention strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, hospital policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call responsibilities as directed by medical staff.
