About The Position

The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients across the lifespan, from infants to older adults. The FNP is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic health conditions while emphasizing patient education and preventive care. Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification and licensure in the United States.
  • Master s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Demonstrated experience in medical/surgical nursing and critical care settings.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • The required skills such as patient education and critical care are essential for effectively managing diverse patient populations and ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
  • Proficiency in chemotherapy and pain management allows the FNP to support patients with complex medical needs compassionately and safely.
  • Urgent care and medical/surgical nursing skills enable the practitioner to respond promptly to acute health issues and emergencies.
  • Patient safety expertise is integrated into every aspect of care delivery, minimizing risks and promoting positive outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing.
  • Certification in Pain Management or Urgent Care Nursing.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams within diverse healthcare environments.
  • Preferred skills like familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth enhance communication and documentation efficiency, supporting modern healthcare delivery models.

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, including pain management and chemotherapy support.

  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records while adhering to patient safety protocols and regulatory standards.
