About The Position

BeeperMD is seeking qualified Family Nurse Practitioners (APRN, FNP) and/or Physician Assistants (PA-C) to join their Tampa Primary and Urgent Care Clinic team. The role involves providing quality patient care through in-person and Telehealth consultations, performing physical exams, maintaining patient records, and developing treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses. The position requires strong communication and leadership skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• FL APRN License (Required)
• PA License in FL
• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Board Certification
• NPI Number
• DEA License (Required)
• DOT Certification (Preferred)
• Medicare/Medicaid enrollment (FL)
• CAQH Provider ID (Required)
• Stay up to date with HIPAA, OSHA, Medicare/Medicaid training
• Spanish speakers (Preferred)
• Previous experience in Family and/or Internal Medicine
• Previous Urgent Care and Telehealth experience is a plus

Nice To Haves

• Spanish speakers (Preferred)
• DOT Certification (Preferred)
• Experience in Urgent Care (2 years preferred)
• Experience in Primary Care (2 years preferred)

Responsibilities

• Report to the Clinic location daily and provide quality patient care
• Perform in-person patient consultations and Telehealth consultations
• Perform physical exams
• Maintain patient records
• Order or perform diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications
• Develop treatment plans
• Treat acute and chronic illnesses, conditions, and injuries that fall under Primary and Urgent Care
• Perform onsite procedures
• Report to the Medical Director for any issues
• Follow up on patient's labs, orders, and referrals
• Maintain open and direct communication with Medical Director and Office Manager
• Be a team leader and a strong team player
