About The Position

Join Our Team at Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. Valley-Wide Health Systems is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA ) to provide comprehensive, high-quality primary care services across our clinics. This role supports our mission of delivering patient- and family-centered care while promoting clinical excellence, quality outcomes, and strong community partnerships. Key Responsibilities Provide preventative and primary health care services to patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics, adolescents, low-risk obstetrics, gynecology, adults, and geriatrics in both acute and chronic care settings. Deliver care in accordance with scope of education, training, licensure, and applicable State Board requirements (PA Rule 400; NP State Board of Nursing). Maintain and model excellent internal and external customer service. Ensure quality and standard of care in alignment with medical best practices. Promote continuous quality improvement in clinical outcomes. Participate in chart audits and reviews as requested. Advocate for patients by coordinating with community resources when appropriate. Maintain collaborative relationships with the medical community, local health departments, agencies, and hospitals. Precept and manage mid-level health practitioner students. Participate in extended hour coverage rotation and outreach events as needed. Complete required annual privileging. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan. Prescribe medications appropriately and according to protocol. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Valid Colorado PA or NP license required.
  • NP candidates must have RXN-P and obtain RXN within one year of hire.
  • Current Board Certification required (if not Board Certified at time of hire, must obtain within one year).
