About The Position

ECU Health Physicians and the Department of Pediatrics at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a part time Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant. The successful candidate will provide care at the Children’s Advocacy Care Center located in Greenville, North and Mount Olive, North Carolina, primary location is flexible. Applicants must have or be eligible for NP/PA licensure in North Carolina and agree to complete training to be rostered to provide Child Medical Evaluations. Job Highlights: Employment by ECU Health Physicians Part time temporary employment that has the potential to become permanent after a year based on grant funding Schedule will include a minimum 8-10 hours per week but is flexible Opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team that includes a social worker, child advocate, family advocate, and partner investigators Clinical responsibilities will include evaluations of children accompanied by non-offending caregivers with national standards for best practice and state guidelines Support, guidance, and supervision will be provided by medical providers and Child Advocacy Center staff located in Greenville and in Mount Olive Routine peer review and access to other providers for guidance Reimbursement will be provided for any travel expenses from Greenville to Mount Olive Extensive training will be provided for North Carolina rostering with the Child medical Evaluation Program prior to seeing patients Training will include shadowing the current 4-person medical evaluation team located at Greenville’s TEDI BEAR center

Requirements
