About The Position
ECU Health Physicians and the Department of Pediatrics at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at their Children’s Advocacy Care Centers (CAC) located in Greenville, North Carolina. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in specialty. Applicants must have or be eligible for licensure in North Carolina and agree to complete training to be rostered to provide Child Medical Evaluations. Job Highlights: Employment by ECU Health Physicians Opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team including a social worker, child advocate, family advocate, and partner investigators Provide evaluations for children accompanied by non-offending caregivers with national standards for best practice and state guidelines Closely supported and provided guidance and supervision from medical providers and CAC staff in Greenville Provider will be primarily based in Greenville, NC with occasional rotations at the Mt. Olive office when needed Monday- Friday schedule - 8am-5pm One week of home call each month Routine peer review and access to other providers for guidance The successful applicant will receive extensive training as part of grant funding Provider will also be involved in the teaching of medical students and residents in clinical settings
