We are seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our brand-new outpatient family medicine clinic opening this Fall in Christiansburg, VA. This role serves a dedicated patient population of employed adults and retirees.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current unrestricted Virginia NP license (Autonomous Practice & Prescriptive Authority preferred)
• Current NP Certification in your specialty area
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong communication, organization, and teaching skills
• Empathy, compassion, and the ability to thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive history and physical exams for acute, chronic, and complex conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment plans
• Monitor and adjust care plans to ensure patient well-being
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and make referrals as needed
• Support patients and families with education, guidance, and compassionate care
