The Program Director of the Central Maine Healthcare family medicine residency program is a physician leader responsible for managing the program's clinical, administrative, and educational components. This position combines strong clinical skills, high-level administrative abilities, and dedication to medical education and mentorship. The Program Director, establishes the strategic vision and direction for the residency program in alignment with the institution's goals. They ensure residents receive a high-quality educational experience that complies with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards while delivering excellent patient care. The director is a leader and mentor, guiding residents and faculty toward clinical and academic excellence.
