About The Position

Optimus Healthcare is a community Health Center driven by one mission: to provide high quality, affordable healthcare to the underserved population regardless of their ability to pay. Optimus is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center providing primary care services in lower Fairfield County, in the cities of Stamford, Bridgeport, Stratford and surrounding areas. We are currently recruiting for a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician to join our primary care clinic located in Bridgeport, CT. This position offers the opportunity to work in a multispecialty federally qualified healthcare clinic providing care to an existing patient base in a 100% outpatient setting. The schedule is family-friendly, with a Monday to Friday working week and the option of part-time or flexible hours.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School.
  • Documented completion of a Residency from an accredited institution specializing in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible to sit for Boards.
  • Valid License to Practice as an Internist in the State of CT.
  • Current D.E.A. and State Controlled Substance Certificate.
  • CPR certification required upon hire and recertification bi-annually.
