About The Position

Duke Primary Care is actively recruiting Family Medicine physicians to the largest - and growing - primary care network in North Carolina's Triangle region. We are a vibrant network within the world-renowned Duke University Health System where our providers work in a collaborative practice, supported by medical assistants and nurses as well as behavioral health, diabetes education, pharmacy, social work, and other specialists to provide comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care. Providers also have access to a unified electronic health record system, an expansive network of specialists for consultation and referral, ancillary services for diagnostic and testing needs, and a robust telehealth platform for virtual visits. Our Primary Care Delivery Model offers: 100% Outpatient Experience Manage On-Call (Nurse Triage) EPIC EMR Dedicated team and staff delivering evidence-based care.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or eligibility for board certification.
• Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a primary care setting.
• Interest in teaching medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care in a collaborative practice environment.
• Manage on-call duties with nurse triage support.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for patient documentation and management.
• Work with a dedicated team of medical assistants, nurses, and specialists to deliver evidence-based care.
