About The Position
JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Family Medicine Physician • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Lancaster, CA • Service Setting: Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: May 04, 2026 – Ongoing (6 months with option to extend) • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00a – 4:30p (Flexible: 7:00a – 3:30p or 9:00a – 5:30p) COVERAGE DATES • May 04, 2026 – Ongoing PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Volume/Census: 23 – 25 patients per day (approximately 3 patients per hour with 30-minute admin time) • Case Mix: General Family Medicine FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient clinic equipment • Support Staff Available: Medical Assistants (1 per provider) with LVN support • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Credentialing Timeline: 30–45 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Standard outpatient family medicine procedures
Requirements
- Active CA License (or willing to obtain)
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (required)
- Active CA DEA required
- Open to new graduates (BC required); 2+ years preferred
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Collaborate with clinical support staff
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
