About The Position

The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient care with a strong emphasis on women’s health. This includes preventative medicine, reproductive health counseling, routine screenings, and minor gynecologic procedures. The physician will manage a typical patient load of approximately 25–30 patients per day and care for patients ages teen and older. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule with 36 hours of direct patient care per week and minimal on-call responsibilities limited to phone coverage. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Ability to obtain or hold an active Arizona medical license
  • Experience or interest in women’s health
  • Outpatient clinical care experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care with a focus on women’s health
  • Conduct well-woman exams and preventive health screenings
  • Provide birth control counseling and management
  • Perform minor gynecological procedures as appropriate
  • Diagnose and manage menopause-related conditions
  • Deliver patient education related to preventive health and wellness
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Manage an average daily patient volume of 25–30 patients
