About The Position
Family Physician Providence Community Health Centers Outpatient Primary Care position A rewarding opportunity to bring quality care to an underserved population in Providence: • Practice is weekday outpatient primary care – 4 days in clinic, one-day of admin time, no weekends. • Collaborate with a terrific team of physicians from all specialties including integrated behavioral health clinicians. • Lead your team – RN and Medical Assistant – to provide quality care regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. • Build a panel to meet your clinical interests. • Enhance your cultural competency working with our diverse patient population. • Since 1968, our innovative Federally Qualified Health Center has provided opportunity for service and leadership. • PCHC has 500 employees caring for 80,000 patients at 8 neighborhood-based clinics in Providence. Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine with experience and interest in community health and patient-centered care
- Licensed/eligible in Rhode Island
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must have or be eligible for M.D. or D.O. license in Rhode Island
- Maintain ongoing professional education as mandated by state regulation
- Maintain appropriate hospital privileges in accordance with PCHC policies
