About The Position

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a family medicine physician for their successful practice, HCA Florida Gainesville Primary Care. The practice offers a full range of services including same-day sick appointments, well-woman exams, senior care, diabetes management, and pediatric care. All providers share in telephone call duties on a weekly rotation. The office operates during traditional hours, Monday through Friday, and has on-site lab, imaging, and ultrasound capabilities. The new physician will step into an established patient panel from day one.

Requirements

• Board eligibility or board certification in Family Medicine.
• Comfortable seeing patients from adolescent to geriatric age.
• Experience with minor surgical procedures and joint injections.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients from adolescent to geriatric age.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and joint injections.
• Participate in telephone call duties on a weekly rotation.
• Collaborate with a team of 6 seasoned providers including 5 family medicine physicians and 1 APP.
