Northern Counties Health Care (NCHC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice primary care in the beautiful and serene Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
Provide comprehensive primary care, including health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Document patient care in a problem-oriented medical record.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests in alignment with clinic protocols.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including mid-level practitioners.
Participate in a rotating schedule for after-hours on-call coverage.
Contribute to the development and implementation of community health education initiatives.
Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to mid-level practitioners.
Graduate of an accredited medical school with completion of a residency program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or a combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics track.
Board certified or eligible and licensed to practice in Vermont.
Experience in a primary care or community health setting is preferred.
DEA license appropriate for scope of practice.
