The position involves performing routine and non-routine physical examinations of patients, collecting and maintaining patient information, ordering and interpreting medical tests, and providing treatment and care for various health conditions. The role also includes prescribing medications, coordinating treatment plans with other healthcare professionals, and advising patients on health and wellness.

  • Perform routine and non-routine physical examinations of patients.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information.
  • Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests and analyze results.
  • Perform minor procedures to treat skin conditions and injuries.
  • Provide care for women during pregnancy and childbirth.
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, and vaccinations.
  • Explain medical procedures and discuss test results with patients.
  • Refer patients to medical specialists when necessary.
  • Coordinate treatment plans with healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and reevaluate treatments.
  • Advise patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of medical staff.
  • Assist with the design of public or employee health programs.
  • Prepare reports including vital and disease statistics.
  • Ensure diagnosis, care, and treatment follow established protocols.
  • Prepare official health documents and patient records.
  • Conduct research to increase knowledge about medical issues.
  • Completion of Doctor of Medicine Residency program with clinical rotation including Primary Care/Family Practice.
  • Doctor of Allopathic, Internal or Osteopathic Medicine or equivalent from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Foreign Doctor of Medicine Degree equivalency as accepted by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
  • Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician from any state or the District of Columbia.
  • Current DEA License.
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification.
