About The Position

UNC Primary Care at Clayton, in partnership with UNC Health Johnston, located in Clayton, NC, are seeking a fulltime Family Medicine physician to join their team. This practice meets and exceeds the challenges of providing care to significant patient needs with complex clinical management, patient complexities and chronic disease management. Experienced candidates preferred but will consider exemplary new grads. Rural Incentive Package!

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.
• Experience in managing complex patient panels preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in rural healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly EPIC.
• Interest in community health and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage complex patient cases and chronic diseases.
• Collaborate with dieticians, social workers, and pharmacists to enhance patient care.
• Utilize EMR (EPIC) for patient documentation and management.
• Participate in clinic operations and lean management practices.
