Responsible for providing primary health care to center patients within the structure of the family practice model; in addition, serves on committees, discharges administrative responsibilities, attends departmental meetings; participates in night and weekend on-call coverage rotation. Will assume teaching responsibilities as assigned; assures professional supervision of Nurse Practitioners, Midwives or Physician Assistant provider personnel, including professional interaction with provider support personnel. (60%) Responsible for teaching residents how to care for patients, providing an important bridge allowing residents to grow and become practice-ready while ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care.
