About The Position

MercyOne Clear Lake Family Medicine is a busy practice with instant volume. The position involves joining 4 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a traditional outpatient family medicine setting. The call is minimal, being phone only with a 1/7 rotation. The clinic is conveniently equipped with lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (must be board certified within 3 years of eligibility).
• Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school.
• Completion of an appropriate residency program.
• Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license.
• Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
• Above average communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a busy outpatient family medicine practice.
• Familiarity with integrated EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Participate in a minimal call rotation (1/7) for phone consultations.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and APPs to deliver quality healthcare.
