JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Assistant Specialty: PA - Family Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Rockingham, NC Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Outpatient Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri (Training on Wednesdays) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Not Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatric Patients, All ages - 6 months and up Average Daily Volume: 20 Case Mix: Urgent Care, Adults and Peds FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: Center Mgr, MA, PSA, Supervising Physician Offsite Reason for Coverage: Extra Coverage
Requirements
- BC / NCCPA / NP Boards
- Active NC DEA
- BLS, PA Cert, Family NP Cert
- 12 months Experience
Responsibilities
- Serve as the sole provider in the Center treating all patients.
- Perform minor procedures including I&D, Lac repair, and ear irrigation.
- Utilize Epic EMR for all patient visits.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide high-quality health care.
- Participate in required EMR training and onboarding prior to first solo shift.
