Requirements

Medical degree
Board certification in Pediatrics
Valid state medical license

Responsibilities

Conducting routine check-ups, physical examinations, and medical consultations for patients
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections
Prescribing medications and treatments as necessary
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work and x-rays
Providing preventative care, including immunizations and health screenings
Educating patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
