About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team full time in Granite City, IL. Ideally, the incoming physician has 3–5-years’ experience, is board certified, and is looking for long term growth with a medical group within the greater St. Louis area. Requirements

MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of IL
BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician
We will consider recent grads

Responsibilities

Provide direct clinical care to a diverse patient panel in an outpatient clinic setting, ensuring comprehensive care across a range of health conditions.
Perform health assessments, including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and treatment plans, while managing acute and chronic health conditions.
Administer immunizations, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing health education to patients.
Conduct preventative care services, including health screenings, wellness checks, and chronic disease management.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers in managing patient care, referring patients as necessary for specialized services.
Participate in patient care management for individuals of all ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Provide culturally sensitive care while addressing social determinants of health and working with patients from underserved communities.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including MAs, nurses, case managers, and behavioral health specialists, to provide holistic patient care.
Participate in community outreach programs to promote health education, disease prevention, and health awareness.
Attend all relevant meetings as necessary
Document all patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
Maintain continuing education and professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines.
Act as a role model for the healthcare team in terms of professionalism, patient care, and communication.
Adhere to the practice of confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff and the organization.
